Anti-Bullying
Our Commitment
At TheFederation, we are committed to providing a safe, caring and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected and supported. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable and will be taken seriously.
What is Bullying?
Bullying is behaviour that is deliberately hurtful, repeated over time and intended to make someone feel upset, frightened or unsafe.
What We Do to Prevent Bullying
We promote a positive school culture through clear behaviour expectations, PSHE and Relationships Education lessons, assemblies and Anti-Bullying Week activities, pupil voice initiatives, positive relationships, online safety education and staff training.
How Children Can Get Help
Children are encouraged to tell a trusted adult, speak to their teacher or teaching assistant, talk to a member of the safeguarding team, or use the school reporting system. Bullying is never your fault and help is always available.
How Parents Can Report Concerns
Contact your child’s class teacher first. If concerns remain, contact a senior leader. The school will investigate concerns promptly and keep parents informed.
How We Respond to Bullying
We listen carefully, investigate promptly, support those affected, work with children to improve behaviour, involve parents where appropriate, and monitor outcomes.
Anti-Bullying Ambition Statement
Everyone at our school has the right to feel safe, respected and included. We celebrate differences, show kindness and stand up for one another.
